Bestsellers: David Baldacci’s Long Road to Mercy (GCP) takes the top slot on the New York Times Combined Print & Ebook Fiction Bestseller list. HBG’s distribution clients have a #1 bestseller, with Sherri Duskey Rinker’s Construction Site on Christmas Night (Chronicle) at the top of the Children’s Picture Books list.

Top Diet Book: The DASH Diet program (GCP) continues its dominance with another year at the top of the U.S. News & World Report list. Marla Heller’s DASH Diet Mediterranean Solution is #1 and her classic DASH Diet is #2 in the Best Diet Overall category.

Amazon Spotlight Pick: Stephanie Land’s Maid (Hachette Books) has been selected by Amazon’s editors as the Spotlight Pick for January. We also have lots of HBG titles in lots of categories, see the complete list of picks here.

Apple Books January picks: Apple Books’ best of January list includes Chigozie Obioma’s An Orchestra of Minorities (LB), Malala Yousafzai’s We Are Displaced (LBYR), and Stephanie Land’s Maid (Hachette Books).

 

Sparks on Broadway: The Notebook (GCP), the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks that was adapted into a 2004 movie, “is headed to Broadway as a musical, with playwright and This Is Us supervising producer Bekah Brunstetter writing the book and ‘Girls Chase Boys’ hit-maker Ingrid Michaelson handling music and lyrics,” Deadline reported.
